Sulphate of Potash (SOP) K2SO4 50%
(Potassium Sulphate)
Sulphate of Potash (Potassium sulphate- K2SO4) contains 50% Potassium Oxide and 17-18% sulfur. SOP is readily soluble in water and thus nutrients K and S are readily available to plants. K2SO4 is used for crops where additional Chlorine is undesirable. The partial salt index of sulphate of potash is lower than muriate of potash (KCl). It does not produce any acidity or alkalinity in the soil. It is an excellent fertilizer and can be applied to all soils and all crops. On soils prone to salinity the use of SOP should be the preferred potash fertilize.
